Dear User welcome to Google workspace.

Follow the instruction to update existing MS outlook client configurations.

Step - 1 Open MS outlook application installed in your Laptop / Desktop
Step - 2 Click File at the top left and then Account Settings, if your configuring outlook for first time click on Add Account.

Step -3
  • Enter a name for your account (this name is shown in the account list) and the sender name that recipients of your E-Mails will see.
  • Enter your full E-Mail address.
  • For Incoming Server, enter imap.gmail.com for IMAP
  • Enter smtp.gmail.com for the Outgoing mail server.
  • Enter the full E-Mail address as Username and the corresponding password.

Step - 4 Click on More Settings and click the Outgoing Server tab.
Enable authentication for your outgoing mail server. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server

Step - 5 click the Advanced tab to check the encryption settings.

Click OK to confirm the settings and then Next. The account settings will then be checked, and you will see a success notification if the account has been set up properly.
